NY:MIEG
NY:MIEG is a place for executives in Media and Entertainment to meet with peers, share ideas and develop friendships with the goal of assisting each other in reaching the next level or their personal goals.
Founded and organized in June 2006, NY:MIEG (The New York Media Information Exchange Group) brings together media, entertainment and financial professionals who meet monthly in New York City to explore ideas and offer wisdom on the profound changes that are forever changing the industry. Its members not only stay abreast of those changes but also maintain their relevancy on crucial topics. NY:MIEG provides a forum for continuing education for all professionals who work with media.
For overĀ 2 years, NY:MIEG event speakers have included Pilot Group leader and former AOL chief Bob Pittman, legendary TV animation executive Fred Seibert, NY chapter President of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Shelly Palmer, NFL VP/Broadcasting and Media Glenn Adamo, head media recruiter and partner at Korn Ferry International Bill Simon, former Wal-Mart CMO and Chrysler executive Julie Roehm, and President of Sports Illustrated Digital Media Jeff Price, to name just a few.
